It’s been nearly a year since the last New Year’s Eve in Bangkok, when The Bangkok Ball Drop at lebua put Thailand’s capital on the world map of New Year celebrations while the restaurants and bars at The Dome brought celebratory cuisine to sparkling new heights – and preparations are already underway to dazzle you once again.

Welcome to Another Bangkok New Year’s Eve at The Dome

Each of the restaurants and bars at The Dome has announced its elite one-night-only New Year’s Eve menus:

At Breeze on the 52nd Floor, a stunning open-air venue where design, cuisine and service come together high above the Bangkok skyline, Executive Chef Sam Pang is determined to outshine even last year’s talk-of-the-town 8-course menu.

Meanwhile, at Sirocco, our Mediterranean fine dining venue and the world's highest alfresco restaurant on the 63rd floor, Chef de Cuisine Gabriele Castellanza is preparing to wow diners with his own exclusive New Year’s Eve 8-course presentation.

Even higher up at Mezzaluna, lebua’s signature fine dining restaurant with its unbroken halo of windows 65 stories in the sky, Chef Ryuki Kawasaki is planning an exquisitely innovative one-night-only 9-course feast that combines the traditions of French haute cuisine with Japanese flavors and textures

Distil bar – our tribute to innovation and style – presents an exciting alternative venue to celebrate Bangkok New Year 2016 with an exceptional 8-course menu, the same legendary skyline views, and a special guest DJ for the night.

Whether before or after dinner, we recommend a drink at Sky Bar just a few steps from Sirocco, our glittering post-modern multi-hued island bar, whose color changes every 90 seconds and which redefines not only Bangkok’s cocktail culture, but New Year’s Eve in Thailand as well.

New Year’s Eve in Thailand wouldn’t be complete without a bottle of rare and exclusive champagne and some delicate French confectionery at Flûte Bar on the 64th floor – the highest al fresco champagne bar in the world and the place to be at midnight.

The Bangkok Ball Drop at lebua
Moments before midnight on Bangkok New Year’s Eve 2016, the 7-foot Bangkok Ball will begin its descent from atop the 49-foot-high steel pole at Sirocco 872 feet in the air, and the sky will be ablaze with a kaleidoscope of fireworks and stars. It is a spectacle that will be seen for more than a mile across the city – and a lot farther than that through the thousands of tweets, posts, photos and videos that will buzz around the world. However, it will be the guests at The Dome’s restaurants and bars who enjoy the best views – and the best dinners, on this New Year’s Eve in Bangkok.
