Celebrate New Years Eve 2017 at the Dome

This year-end a now annual Bangkok tradition will once again put the city on the world map of New Year’s Eve celebrations, when the iconic seven-foot Bangkok Ball Drop descends 49 feet from above Sirocco, the world’s highest alfresco restaurant, to usher in the 2018. With limited availability, reserve your place today.

Suspended 872 feet in the air and visible for more than a mile across the city, the Bangkok Ball Drop at lebua is the highest in the world. It broke the world record for the highest ball drop when it was unveiled in 2013, surpassing the Times Square Ball Drop in New York.

Made in Thailand by a team of 50 engineers and craftsmen who factor altitude, wind gusts and visibility into the construction, the ball weighs in at 1.2 tons, and consists of a steel frame of 20 hexagons and 12 pentagons, covered with a translucent fabric, and combines 2,950 LED lights, and 50 strobe lights. Now in its fifth consecutive year it will be the city’s first and most memorable sight of the new year.

Each of the restaurants and bars at the Tower Club at lebua will announce exclusive one-night-only New Year’s Eve menus. New Year's Eve at Tower Club at lebua is not to be missed this year.
