"We had a great stay at this hotel for 3 nights travelling with my wife and son. The location is perfect for the river taxis and the sky train - excellent for access to malls and sites. The pool was great for our son after being forced to go round palaces and temples etc. We both enjoyed lying on loungers at the pool in the sun at the end of each day. The staff were all great, breakfast was superb and had everything that you could imagine. The suite on the 54th floor had a great view of Chao Phrya and the whole city. All amenities were there in the suite, from full size fridge, microwave, hob to espresso machine. I would recommend taking the tower privileges as the afternoon drinks and canapés are a good way to end a day of sightseeing. I would only stay here next time in BK (I wouldn't bother looking anywhere else) and would again book the hotel limo from the airport as it is a stressless way to start and end your trip."

"Me, my husband and my daughter stayed in the hotel for 5 nights, from July 10th to 15th. The hotel, especially the lobby is very fancy. The staff was very nice and extremely helpful, especially at the concierge. Our room was very clean, nice and spacious, the balcony with the city and the river view was amazing - we watched the sunset from it every evening. Although the hotel’s location was very close to the river which provided nice view and access to water taxis and boats, the area itself is not that pleasant at night. That didn’t bother us a lot though, because there are many ways to get around - taxis, tuk tuk and the sky train. The hotel has a free tuk-tuk service to the pier until 5 pm. Breakfast was amazing, with a big variety of food. Pool and gym were great. The Sirocco Skybar had an amazing view, but notice that food and drinks are very pricy. Overall, great experience with a luxury hotel. Would definitely return for our next visit in Bangkok."

"This was our 2nd stay at the Tower Club at Lebua State Tower and our 3rd visit to Thailand. We stayed on the 57th floor for 3 nights at the start of a 2 week holiday before flying to Phuket. As some other reviewers say, the hotel is becoming quite dated. In fact, we did not notice any improvements at all since our last stay about 6 or 7 years ago. However, this hotel is still a very charming and well run hotel with great levels of service and cleanliness. We also chose it because if its convenient location. It is only a few minutes walk to the Sky train and Sathorn Pier. From there, you can get access to all the main sights. There is also a free ferry to the new Iconsiam shopping centre which has fabulous designer shops and restaurants. This is where we chose to eat. We found the lounge access very welcome with the free flow of drinks and snacks from 6am to 6pm. In fact, we preferred the more civilised breakfast in there to the very crowded breakfast room. The breakfast is described as continental but a full breakfast and other specialities can be ordered. The only disappointment was that it closes at 6pm which is a lot earlier than a lot of other hotel lounges we have visited. After a day's sightseeing, we felt rushed to get back to the hotel to take advantage of a service we had paid for. Also, as some other reviewers say, there is a lot of heavy sell from members of staff, constantly asking where we were eating that evening and promoting their expensive restaurants. We will in future return to this hotel and definitely recommend it to anyone considering staying in the river area of Bangkok."

"On arrival we were upgraded to a suite, which was nice. The booking I had was part of the lounge club access. It is worth paying the extra to have this access due to the food and drinks that are part of the package. The service in the lounge is very attentive. The rooms are spacious and have balconies overlooking the river. Skybar is a must:)"
