At Mezzaluna by lebua, the finest ingredients are celebrated at their purest. Guided by the rhythm of the seasons, Executive Chef Ryuki Kawasaki creates tasting menus that evolve with freshness, precision, and quiet imagination.

At the heart of the experience is an exceptional expression of craftsmanship: Murakami Beef from Niigata Prefecture, Chef Ryuki’s hometown in Japan. Renowned for its exquisite marbling and delicate, melt-in-the-mouth texture, this rare wagyu reflects the same devotion to origin, quality, and refinement that defines every dish at Mezzaluna.

From oysters and truffles to the finest teas and seasonal produce, each ingredient is selected with uncompromising care. This dedication extends beyond the plate — from the preparation of every course to the curation of the world-class wine cellar and the graceful service that accompanies each moment.

Meaning “half moon,” Mezzaluna occupies a crescent-shaped dining room on the 65th floor of State Tower, where double-height windows frame some of Bangkok’s most breathtaking views. Suspended high above the city, the restaurant offers an atmosphere of quiet drama and timeless elegance — a fitting stage for a two-MICHELIN-starred dining experience that lingers long after the final course.

THE CHEF

After working in some of the world’s best kitchens, Chef Ryuki Kawasaki joined lebua in 2015 after being offered the opportunity to create something truly unique. “My background was in classic French cuisine,” he says. “But at Mezzaluna I was given complete creative freedom. I wanted to use it to offer guests a completely new gourmet dining experience.”

To do this, Ryuki looked to his Japanese roots: “Some of the highest quality produce in the world comes from Japan. So I’ve created an innovative and original menu that fuses the richness, flavour​ and incredible textures of French cuisine with the simplicity, exquisite presentation and subtle nuances of Japan.” His hard work hasn’t gone unnoticed—under his leadership, Mezzaluna was awarded two MICHELIN stars in 2018.

DRESS CODE

To ensure a pleasant and elegant atmosphere for all guests, we kindly ask everyone to adhere to our dress code.

Smart elegant attire for Chef’s Table, Mezzaluna and Pink Bar

  • For Women: Elegant tops, blouses, dresses, skirts, tailored shorts, and dress sandals are appropriate.
  • For Men: Collared shirts and long trousers are required. T-shirts, sleeveless clothing, shorts, and caps are not permitted. Long jeans are acceptable when paired with covered shoes.

Dress codes and policies apply to all guests, including children.

CHILD POLICY

  • Children of all ages are welcome at Sirocco and Breeze.
  • At Mezzaluna, Chef’s Table, Sky Bar, and The Flute Bar, children aged 7 and above are welcome when accompanied by an adult.
  • Distil Bar, Alfresco 64, lebua No.3, and Pink Bar are for adults only (20+).

PHOTOGRAPHY

We encourage you to capture memorable moments during your visit. Photography is allowed in most areas of our establishments, except where signage indicates otherwise. Please note that tripods, extension poles, and external flash units are not permitted.

LUGGAGE

To ensure a comfortable and seamless experience for all guests, we kindly ask that backpacks, shopping bags, suitcases, and other large luggage items not be brought into our venues. Please be advised that luggage storage is not available at this time.

CANCELLATION & AMENDMENT POLICY

A deposit is required to guarantee your reservation and will be deducted from your final bill at the restaurant. Please note that your booking is not confirmed until the deposit has been received.

Reservations may be amended or canceled up to 72 hours prior to the reservation time without any charge. Cancellations, no-shows, or changes made less than 72 hours in advance will result in the deposit being retained as a cancellation fee without prior notice.

For special event dates (such as New Year’s Eve, Christmas Eve, and Valentine’s Day) and group reservations, a 100% non-refundable deposit is required in advance. This deposit is non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be applied to other reservations, events, or functions in case of cancellation or no-show.
