Multi-award winning Chef Dominique J. Blais is an Executive Chef at The Dome at lebua, Bangkok where he will show his love of food and focus on the creative techniques and best ingredients that define a fine dining experience.
Taking on the role of Executive Chef, Dominique takes responsibility for every aspect of kitchen management and cooking for The Dome, Tower Club at lebua. He will encourage all Dome chefs to develop an exciting menu and comply with all standards of best practices, especially the creation of a unique taste to be served to guests on each plate.
Born and raised on the spectacular coastline of Western France in the province of Britanny, Dominique’s French heritage and creativity merged to form a unique traditional culinary taste. His natural preference for the French culinary tradition was followed by the study of international culinary courses in kitchen and management skills as a stepping stone to his goal of becoming a Chef. Dominique has over 25 years experience as an Executive Chef as well as a wealth of experience at prestigious restaurants around the world.
With his passion for French Culinary Arts, Chef Dominique has been recognized as Maître Cuisinier de France (Master Chef of France). It’s one of the many awards he has received. Designations are awarded by the Paris-based Association des Maîtres Cuisiniers de France whose motto is to preserve, advance and perpetuate the tradition of great French cuisine. It is the most envied title that a chef aspires to in the gastronomic world.
